You find yourself in Harbourtown, New Wirral, attacked by wild monsters! But locals choose to fight fire with fire. By recording monsters onto retro cassette tapes, players can literally become the monsters they’re fighting, using their new powers into battle.
It does not stop there – cassette crossbows introduces a revolutionary new feature that allows players to fuse two of their monster forms together to create a powerful fusion form. Now the citizens of Harbourtown are finally ready to face their monstrous enemies!
Explore a rich open world
Explore a vibrant open world and discover hidden treasures and secrets. In human form, you can use various monster abilities to get around: glide, fly, swim, climb, run, or even turn magnetic!
When you’re ready to take on the world, you won’t have to do it alone. Join forces with a partner and bond as you spend time together to become a better team. The strength of your relationship will affect how well you can merge, so don’t forget to complete personal goals and work together to unleash the full potential of this world’s hidden powers, you’ll need that. The island of New Wirral is home to many hidden secrets and spooky stories, as well as interesting characters to meet!
Master a deep battle system
Use elemental chemistry to your advantage! Make use of elemental buffs and debuffs to enhance your attacks, weaken your opponent, or even change your opponent’s elemental type. With strategic use of elemental chemistry and the ability to fully customize your moves and attacks (Stickers). As you explore the world, you’ll be able to find different rarities of stickers – the possibilities for customizing your monster shapes are almost endless!
